Lord, You Know
As I read the conversation between Ezekiel and God in Ezekiel 37, I am thinking I do not want to be in Ezekiel's shoes. He was standing over a valley full of very dry bones with no signs of life. He could not tell the neck bone from the hip bone, the femur from the tibia and God asked the question, "son of man, can these bones live". Bewildered, I presume, not knowing what would be the right answer, the prophet answered "... “O Lord God , You know.” Ezekiel 37:3.
Indeed, only God knew if the bones could live again. It looked like it was completely over for these bones. It was done, all avenues had been closed and they were good only for burial. If there was any chance of them coming back to life, only God knew. Ezekiel did not waste time trying to analyze the situation, find the scientific and logical reasons why the bones could or could not live again. He gave it right back to God.
Are you going through a moment like that? Do not obsess over it. Do not spend all your time worrying about it, if worrying could do anything it would have done it by now. Turn the issue and the situation over to the one who knows why, who, how, when and just stand back and watch Him do what He does best. Let Him handle it.
Tell Him, Lord only you know if I will be healed! Only you know if I will make it. Only you know if this will happen for me. Only you know the end from the beginning so get me to your expected end for me. If He can turn a valley of very dry bones into a huge army, He can turn around your situation too.
