immanuel - God with us
Main Verses: Isaiah 7:10-14
Isaiah, in the year King Uzziah died, discovered that he was a prophet. The closer you get in your relationship with God, the more you realize you don't know Him. Ahaz was the King of Isreal when Isaiah gave this prophecy about Immanuel, the coming Messiah. Ahaz refused to pray to God although the Prophet asked him to do so. When you become a leader, you must understand that it is no longer about you but those you have been called to lead.
Immanuel means God with us. When the angel came to Mary he said to her, His name shall be called Jesus which means God our salvation. God's plan for us after we have received Christ as our savior is that He will be with us forever. God through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus, has given us the liberty to become sons and He wants us to be with Him always. God builds us and dwells in us by the Holy Spirit. It takes the Holy Spirit to live for Christ. As a child of God, you must be conscious of the fact that you carry Christ in you so be careful of the way you live.
Immanuel, God with us means all fear is cast out because perfect love cast out fear. We also have the assurance of victory in Christ, we've received light and have support in tough battles. Loneliness can also mean a process through which you come to appreciate purpose. Allow God to work on you because, in the days that your confidence is low, that is when God is strong around you. Know that God with you means there is a strong warrior standing behind you to see you through. He is your provider who assures you of divine provision.
Walk with the understanding of Immanuel and that He will perform every promise that concerns you.
