Have You Prayed Today?
Paul urges us in Eph. 6:18-19 to "... pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel."
I know you all know the importance of prayer especially in the mornings but sometimes it is just tough to make time for it. That notwithstanding, I will still urge you to always start your day with prayer especially those with kids. Build in a few minutes to pray with them or for them before they head out to school. By doing that they learn the importance of prayer from you and helps build their own personal faith. And even if you do not have kids yet build up that habit now so it continues when kids come in. Then of course Paul asked that they pray for him so add your pastor(s) to your prayer list too.
Remember, daily prayers lessen daily worries!!
