Let us take a trip to the beginning and look at the creation account. On day one, God created day and night; day two He created the sky. On the third day, God created the land and the seas, seed bearing plants, fruit bearing trees and all kinds of vegetation.
Then God did something. He stood back and looked at what He had done so far and said to Himself, this is good! "...And God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:10.
God was not done with creating. He had three more days to go but from the third day He started celebrating what He had accomplished so far. His work was not complete, it was far from over but God still found a reason to give Himself props.
We must learn to celebrate small victories. It is ok to reward yourself sometimes before you accomplish the big feat! Do not wait till it is all done before you celebrate. There is always something to celebrate if you take your time to look for it. If God celebrated incompletion then you can too.
A celebratory attitude shows that we are are grateful for what God has enabled us to do so far. Celebrate the few pounds you have lost even though you have many more to lose. Celebrate the improved grade though it is not the A you wanted. Your child is not there yet but celebrate the little improvement in his attitude. The list is endless. 2020 is not what any one of us expected but celebrate the fact that you have made it this far, you still have a job, you recovered from COVID-19, etc.
Is there anything you need to celebrate today? Do not hesitate to do so.
Love, Lady Monica ❤
