What is the one word that fitly describes 2020 for you? Mine is unprecedented, maybe interesting, strange, uncertain. I remember on Sunday March 15th, we were on our way home from church when we heard the governor had announced some form of a lockdown and put a limit of the number of people who could gather in one place.
Things were pretty uncertain, no one knew what was going to happen and how this strange virus would affect our lives. Through border closures, quarantine requirements, deaths, price gouging, scarcity of disinfectants, we have made it to mid September. God had indeed watched over us and will continue to watch over us.
Isaiah 41:10 is a promise from God that we can rely on one hundred percent. He says "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand."
He has been been strengthening us, helping us and holding on to us for years and He will continue to do so. If you are feeling weary, tap into His divine strength. You do not need to go it alone, His helping hand is outstretched towards you right now, stretch your hand and take a hold of His. He is holding on to you tightly and there is no way you are going to fall however close you are to the ground or to that precipice.
Life is full of hardships and troubles and strange happenings but God's strong hand will always hold you and I up. Be assured that your life is being held in God's strong and mighty hand. Just His one hand is good enough!
